Hier ist noch der Text auf Englisch- zum Verbreiten und für weitere Info unter einem Thread: Hi, do you remember the team of the „Wollschmiede“ (Wool Forge), Sabine and David? You may have met them in Freienfels, Germany, over beginning of May, but most of you will know them from Foteviken, Trelleborg and Gudvangen viking events. Sabine dyes wool, using ancient dying techniques. She uses to refer to herself as „the woman with the soft wool, but with sharp tongue“. David is one of the very few tool smiths who are able to forge damascene blades. At their market stand, there used to be a never ending flow of friends-and-fans, and everyone was invited to have a seat and chat or given professional advice. The two of them are really badly off since Sabine s MS has been getting worse recently and she therefore is no longer able to work. She suffers from disturbance of eliquilibrium, pain and numb fingers; Her optic nerve is also affected. Sometimes, David has to take care of her, nurse and attend her. This makes it impossible for him to run his toolsmith workshop. His idea now is to work as a seller of silver jewelry, which happens over the weekends, when their son can attend his mother. Unfortunately, they need a new van to enter the town centres . They also need financial help until David found a new way to make money, as there is no wellfare program for them any more from June 2015. If you feel you would like to help, please contact Sabine via Facebook directly, until we found a safe way to publish the account details. If you are not able to donate any money, you can probably buy a new knife or some wool. And please share! On Facebook, on your homepages and in Emails. When the campaign is over, you will read a message in my Facebook-group (Hilfe fur die Wollschmiede) THANKS, everyone! (Germany, May 26th)
